Stop it, you’re getting me all mist-y

hello weblog friends, i hope everyone survived the Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving in my family was actually really really good. Back when we were younger though, we use to have  Thanksgiving were everyone in the family would meet at a relatives house and bring potluck. I guess times has changed and lately we’ve been spending it in our own households. Anywho this Thanksgiving we wanted to have all the bells and whistles.. so my mom decided to buy everything Thanksgiving related, It went well seeing its the first time she ever cooked Turkey.. I dont really care for turkey that much… im more interested with Ham.. that juicy glazed ham… mmmmm.. My brother and my sister in-law joined us for Thanksgiving .. they are a blast to have around, makes the house livelier and it makes my family complete.. before the feeding commenced, we decided to go watch a movie.. the movie was called The Mist.. a Stephen King adaptation.. now i gotta tell you the movie was borderline good except for some parts. The characters were ok except for this one character: Marcia Gay Harden.. well not her, the character she portrayed.. Mrs. “repent”Carmody.
her character was very…..um…. absorbing..  I sat there and everytime they showed her i wanted to grab her and toss her out of the grocery store. If you’ve seen the movie then you know what i mean.. if not well i suggest you watch it, unless you want me to spoil it for you? ill give you the ending though.. The ending was kinda bleek and kind of gave me a pessimistic view about life.. “when theres no hope.. give up..” but i guess that just how i viewed it… By the way the book had it end differently. I was so intrigued on how the book ended that i decided to research it, and let me tell you the ending on the book is much better, its more “open-ended.” Anyways the movie is borderline good so if you have nothing else to do.. or you want to see a pretty good suspense thriller i suggest you go see The Mist..
